Getting To Know Etsy...Again! Part II



Finding your Etsy Profile to edit it's contents.

 Our seller profiles are our opportunity to let buyers and other sellers know a bit about us.  This is our opportunity to share part of who we are, how we came to Etsy, our artistic backgrounds and why our shops are special.

You can guide people to your personal or professional website, blog, or other sites you may wish to share.

Here is how to locate your Profile Page from your store's home page on Etsy.

.....From your shop's first page, click "Your Account" This is found in the upper right corner of your shop page right after your name.  Click on "Your Account"

This is what you will see

Click on the words "Your Account" (Circled in red in this picture).

Clicking on "Your Account" brings up this page:

Locate the Profile icon on the left side of this page (Circled in red in this picture.)

Clicking on the Profile Icon brings you to this page:


 On this page you can edit your profile picture, your full name can be shown, your gender, and your location (Do put your city, state and country) as well as your "Bio" which tells your viewer about you as a person as well as your artistic information, your favorite materials to work with and what you wish to share within your Etsy workings.  Be SURE that you click SAVE CHANGES or all your efforts on this page will not show.

After you've saved your changes your browser redirects to this:

You can safely leave the profile page knowing your work here is done!

Amazing Changes

There have been many many changes on our Etsy these past few weeks.  So many that it's been a challenge to run our shops (at least for some of us).  I plan to do a series of posts trying to explain the new ways to maintain our beloved shops.  The changes are improvements but change comes hard to many people. 

I need help from you.  What is blocking you?  Where do you have the most problems figuring out how to fix your store?  You are welcome to leave a comment suggesting a topic for future posts... please DO!  What can't you find?  Where do you get lost?  Let us know and we can get all this new stuff figured out!  Please let me know in comments on this post!

You all know that I don't just link you to another article and leave it at that, I lose my concentration when it happens to me so I won't do that to you.  I will probably post screen shots to clarify what you should look for.  If any of you would like to guest write I am open to that for sure!

Shall we begin figuring out the changes?  As I get suggestions I will post the response as quickly as I can.  I will use the above maze photo and put the subject of what we are working on as the picture title.  Hopefully this will save confusion in future postings.
